Witout a doubt, YouTube can assist with promoting libraries. It is worthwhile to create a video of the library and to promote the services on YouTube. YouTube provides the opportunity for libraries to easily promote their services, plus it is fun to do! According to Webb (2007, p. 355), "The advantages to using this software to promote your library are amazing. YouTube has a feature that allows you to add a video to a blog, or it allows you to send video to a cell phone, providing easy access to guides anywhere".  What is more, patrons can be notified when new library videos are created or uploaded.

Most importantly, librarians can train their staff and library patrons how to effectively and efficiently  make use of Web 2.0 technologies.  Seeing that YouTube videos are easy to download and to embed within PowerPoint presentations; it would also be straightforward to promote Web 2.0 in library workshops and courses.  YouTube has a wide variety of educational and training videos to pick from. For example the following Web 2.0 video provides a quick overview how Web 2.0 all started.
